Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, Marley has spent his life captivated by the tides and the allure of the rising water. From the sunrise on the Cowichan River to the sunset on our local lakes, the water has always been his home.

After high school, Marley embarked on a decade-long journey into the world of fishing. He launched his professional career as a salt water fisher guide in Nootka Sound, where he developed a passion for chasing salmon all summer and hunting Steelhead all winter.
Marley’s guiding career took him from the rugged British Columbia coast to the world-renowned trout streams of New Zealand, all while travelling with his wife, Ruby. These years on the water transformed his childhood passion into elite-level expertise.

Now settled back in the Cowichan Valley with his young family, Marley is dedicated to sharing the magic of Vancouver Island with others. For him, fishing is more than just a business—it’s a lifestyle.
